Nature lovers and the curious can mingle with over 45 different wildlife exhibits throughout the Park which contains 33 species of mammals and 55 species of birds. As you stroll through our two kilometers of wheelchair accessible and shaded pathways, notice our new style of enclosure. The interpretive displays in the Creighton Environmental Centre introduce you to the various ecosystems. We also have a large collection of wildlife photographs on display during the summer season of Park animals taken by members of the NS Photographers Guild. We have large clean washroom facilities and a 10 hectare picnic area complete with shelters, tables, running water and a large playground.
We are located just off Highway 102, Exit 11 at Stewiacke, just 40 minutes from downtown Halifax. You can visit us from May 15 to October 15, from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm and from October 16 to May 14 on weekends only from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. A small admission fee is charged at the gate.
